Continuing on with Dior this week, these images caught my attention.
It's a simple yet sophisticated jewellery production, with soft light and gentle, muted background colour, but with a sprinkle of something distinctive.
To me, it seems as if it's a little story of trying on the external, mirror-shaped fabric through matching the design, which is the first image, then cutting things out and making sure they fit, to the last couple of images where the final assembly happens. The model could be looking at herself in an imaginary mirror. Lovely little concept that doesn't take away from the gorgeous jewellery pieces.
Of course, everyone can read it differently, but I like that it's not just a model with jewellery - there's something extra and unique that adds a mysterious, curious element into the portrait. It does the trick of attracting attention.
